Beaverlodge Motorcross Club will be hosting the Banquet on Saturday Oct 2nd at the Hythe Legion Hall.

Cocktails: 5pm - 6pm

Supper & Awards 6pm - 8:30pm   (Supper Catered by Circle A Catering  YUM! YUM!)

Dance to follow (Music by "GOOD VIBRATIONS")

Tickets will be $30.00 each

The big PMA finale is coming up soon, but what to do after that? Challenge yourself to a bit of offroad fun with a little enduroX thrown in at the Black Sunday Cross Country Race. Did we mention that junior riders have no entry fee? There will be a minibike obstacle course & fun activities for the kids!

Former PMA Pro Class rider & longtime Taylor MX Volunteer Cole Lewis is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Kelowna to battle cancer. There will be a benefit dance for Cole on May 1st at Taylor Hall, anyone interested can call Shelanda Ryder @ 250-789-3265. Transponders are mandatory for the 2010 racing season for all classes except for the 50cc 4-6.  Rick Leitner has been kind enough to buy some transponders and will sell them to you for $230.00.  He can be contacted at 780-814-1623.  Pre-registration will not be accepted unless there is a Transponder number on your form, however if you send $230.00 on top of your registration fee, you will be issued a transponder and your number will be entered into the computer.  We would like to provide Jaqui Reber with all of this information before the first race of the year to streamline the transition.  For anyone that has made the decision to purchase their own transponder, please include the number on your registration form.  The registration forms are being updated and we will have them out on the website and to all of the clubs as soon as they are done.  If you have already filled out and sent in a registration form that is fine, but please email your transponder number to Tammy Doll. Thank you everyone for your patience and cooperation as we get ready for the 2010 season, it is greatly appreciated. 

Please note: FAMILY members can use the same transponder for multiple classes, provided they arent in the same class and/or their classes are too close together. It is your responsibilty to arrive at the gate on time (races will not be delayed because a transponder is being switched over) so please err on the side of caution!

I will be seeking out two people from the Worsley club next race date to run the electronic timing system.  No time like the present to start training others...as I could not be at the Grande Prairie race.  Please don't be intimated by the system and yes I am approachable...even though at times it appears that I am not!

I'm hoping that everyone in the 125 Int./Expert class reads this message as the last race is coming up.  This means that I am requesting all of the rental transponders be returned to me at the end of this race with the box, both charges, cradle, clip and transponder.  We have extra clips so for those who have misplaced theirs for a small fee of $5.00.  Other parts?  We don't have any in stock but will order extra pieces that are missing at a cost to you.  Please try your best to give them back.

The transponders will be for sale and would make an excellent Christmas present for those that plan to race next year!  The sooner we sell these ones, the sooner we can order more so be sure to get one as soon as you can.  Plus, it will save a whole lot of grief next spring...

ps.  If there are any other lap counters from other clubs that are interested in learning how to run the system, nows the time.  I promise it will be painless :)
